How easy is it to print photos wirelessly from my smartphone with the Canon Selphy CP1500?

Printing wirelessly from your smartphone is super simple with the Canon Selphy CP1500. Just download the Canon SELPHY Photo Layout app, connect your device to the printer using Wi-Fi or a direct wireless connection, and start selecting your images. The app also lets you personalize your prints with layouts, filters, and stickers before printing. No need for complicated setups or cables—perfect for printing photos on the go or at gatherings!

What types and sizes of photos can I print with the Selphy CP1500?

The Selphy CP1500 gives you plenty of creative options for photo sizes. You can print postcard-size photos (100 x 148 mm), square labels (50 x 50 mm), mini stickers (22 x 17.3 mm), and more using SELPHY-compatible paper kits. This variety makes it great for albums, gifts, scrapbooking, or crafting personalized photo keepsakes—all from the comfort of home.

Are the printed photos really long-lasting and resistant to damage?

Absolutely! The Canon Selphy CP1500 uses dye-sublimation technology to produce prints that are water, scratch, and fingerprint resistant. When stored in an album, these photos can last up to 100 years without fading, keeping your precious memories safe for decades. This durability is a standout feature compared to standard home printers, making the Selphy CP1500 ideal for those who value quality and preservation.

What materials do I need to keep printing and how easy are they to replace?

To keep printing with your Selphy CP1500, you'll need Canon SELPHY-compatible paper and ink kits. Both paper and ink are sold together in sets for added convenience, so you won't have to worry about mismatched supplies. Replacing them is straightforward: just open the dedicated compartments for the ink cassette and paper tray, pop in the new kits, and you're ready to go. You'll find replacement kits easily available at GulfStore.com and other retailers.

Can I print photos from SD cards or cameras directly, or only from mobile devices?

You have flexible options with the Selphy CP1500! Besides wireless printing via the app, you can print directly from SD cards—just insert the card into the built-in slot and use the screen for easy selection. It also supports USB-C connections for direct printing from compatible cameras or devices. This versatility ensures you can print your favorite shots whether they're on your phone, camera, or memory card.

Made to endure

The majority of materials we use for our commercial production are the same which we use in equipment for the Finnish Defence Forces and other defence and security clients. Our most commonly used fabric in load carrying equipment is extremely wear resistant 1000D Cordura, as per FDF specs, with polyurethane coating on the inside. The webbing and edge tape we use are, again as per FDF specs, strong polyester webbing in various widths and thicknesses for different applications.

Our green and M05 camouflage materials and accessories are by default compliant with strict FDF specs for NIR reflection levels, as should be since these same materials are used in official military equipment.
